Winter wonderland returns to Nottingham early this year and is extending its magic. It will commence fromTuesday the 7th of November till Sunday the 31st of December. Seifeldin reports.
The famous christmas attraction will once again include the ice rink and the sky skate ice path – in addition to the ice bar, Sur La Piste, altitude ski bars, observation wheel, and toboggan slide. It’s also important to mention the great food and live entertainment available at the christmas market. There are group hospitality and corporate packages available.
Fun seekers can choose to skate around the market square above ground and enjoy a drink at one of the two skate up bars. If you’re not a fan of heights, you can enjoy the ground level ice rink.
There will also be a themed ice-bar kept at -10 degrees (coats and gloves provided) for those who don’t feel like skating, where they can enjoy a drink in an ice glass inside an ice cave atmosphere with ice sculptures. Young visitors can enjoy the toboggan slide and frozen swing in addition to the Helter Skelter Bar and Slide.
It would be impossible not to write about the Christmas market without mentioning the stalls – with their large variety of international and delicious food alongside handmade gifts.
The Nottingham Magical Christmas Tree will again be the main focal point of the event, which can be seen from the Observation wheel standing in front of the council house – offering outstanding scenic views across the city.
