Five Unmissable Activities To Do in Nottingham City Centre this Christmas!

From visiting the Christmas markets to watching a game of Ice Hockey, there’s plenty to do in Nottingham this Christmas. FMB Radio’s Jessica looked at the top five activities and attractions to visit.

Winter Wonderland:

With the opportunity to go ice skating, drink mulled wine, or simply wander round the markets and take in the smell of the food, Winter Wonderland on Old Market Square is worth a visit. The Wheel of Nottingham also gives you a chance to look over the whole of the city centre and the alpine Ice Bar is one not to miss. Both Adult and Kid friendly there is something for everyone!

Christmas Market at Nottingham Castle:

Partnered with It’s in Nottingham, another Christmas market at Nottingham castle was open this weekend. With the Dementia Choir performing on the Saturday at 4 pm as well as others.

Christmas Films showings:

Christmas comes to the big screen this year at Broadway Cinema with films including The night before Christmas, Die Hard and Elf!

Ice Skating at the National Ice Centre:

Enjoy the festivities of skating with the twinkle of Christmas Lights. Go with friends or family, you’re bound to have a good time!

For the sporty types, the Ice Hockey matches played by the Nottingham Panthers is a great way to experience Elite League sport, in the heart of Nottingham’s city centre.
