Job Description

Deià Pediatric Therapy is seeking an energetic, motivated, and professional pediatric speech-language pathologist to join our team! An opportunity to be part of a growing team of professionals and room to grow within the company. Ensuring that each session is given 100% dedication for the betterment of the client. We are looking for team players who are willing to help another coworker or company out when in need.

Schedules will be very flexible with opportunities to avoid cancellations. The position is school based in various locations within Hialeah and Miami Lakes.

Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate clients and write up individualized evaluation reports and plan of care. (For Speech-language pathologist or speech-language pathologist CF only).
  • Provide individualized treatment based on plan of care.
  • Create daily SOAP notes based on treatment sessions.
  • Create lesson plans to target goals in a fun and innovative manner.
  • Provide parent feedback and collaborate with team on progress.
  • Collaborate with other team professionals regarding client’s progress and/or needs.
  • Attend workshops or supervisory meetings (for speech therapy assistant and speech language pathology assistants.
  • Conduct speech therapy in a professional manner.


Requirements:

  • Must have a Florida Dept of Health License as a speech language pathologist, CF or CCC required.
  • Must have ASHA membership.
  • Must have a valid professional license.
  • Bilingual (English and Spanish).
  • Willingness to drive to nearby schools (2-3 locations maximum).
  • Will require fingerprinting.
