Senior Data Scientist

Required Skills :

• Bachelor s degree in finance, Engineering, Analytics, or Information Management is required.
• Masters/Phd in Mathematics or Statistics preferred.
• 8+ years equivalent experience in data science modelling, forecasting, data analytics
• 3+ years in machine learning, ML operations engineering
• 2+ years experience with AWS (Amazon Web Services) or other cloud.
• Open-source AI experience preferred and should be strong on Quicksight and AWS.
• Data Science Certifications & Certified in AWS Cloud Preferred.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS

• Experience working with AWS Cloud or similar environments and tools for Data Science, AI and ML
• Proven ability to manage projects and ability to know when to dive deep in providing a data driven solution.
• Ability to take ambiguous sets of data and decipher meaning to tell a story or business case that drives business decisions is required.
• Should be strong in AWS suite.
• Strong predictive, statistical modelling skills.
• Strong ability to communicate both written and verbally to internal and external clients.
• Ability to work independently with business users and cross functional leaders.
• Ability to solve for higher ambiguity using data science.
• Strong ability to create and deliver effective presentations to multiple audiences.
• Advanced expertise using data analytic software such as R, Python, SQL.
• Expert knowledge of Microsoft productivity tools: Excel, Word, and Visio and other software is necessary.
• Ability to work in a collaborative environment and fast paced environment.
• Knowledge of Extract Transform Load (ETL), Data Architecture preferred.
• Ability to mentor junior data scientists and colleagues.
• Lead/Mentor colleagues and junior data scientists.
• Initiate and manage Advanced Analytics projects end-to-end.
