JOB TITLE: Truck Driver
DEPARTMENT: Backend
FLSA CLASSIFICATION: Non-exempt (hourly)
Position Summary: Delivery of doors to customer, either on site or to the warehouse.
Essential Functions:
- Moving doors to tailgate and unloading.
- Maintain Truck during delivery (fueling, keeping it clean, post/pre check)
- Making sure paperwork with door count, signing of invoice’s, leaving packing slips with customers, collecting COD’s.
- Contacting customers, when on the way, going to be late or not making it to the location.
- Maintaining Hours of Service requirements.
- Work in a safe manner.
Education and Experience:
- High School diploma or G.E.D is a plus.
- Driving a 26’ & 37’ box truck.
Driver Qualifications:
- Clean Class B, Air Brake endorsement or Greater CDL license.
- Working knowledge of ELD (GEOTAB).
- Strong organizational skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Available to drive up to 3 days over night.
