MINIMUM 1 YEAR RECENT EXPERIENCE DRIVING A BOBTAIL TRUCK

Connect Staffing is seeking an experienced Tire Service Technician / Delivery Driver for a large tire distribution company located in Fontana, CA.

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00am – 5:00pm, with overtime as required

Requirements for Tire Service Technician / Delivery Driver:

• 1 year of recent experience driving a bobtail truck
• Must have a valid California driver’s license 
• Pass a drug screen and background check, MVR record
• Ability to lift, push, pull, or carry heavy objects up to 75 lbs.
• Knowledge and experience using hand tools and power tools
• Must have steel toe shoes 
• Prior experience in roles such as Forklift Operator, General Warehouse Worker, Tire Repair Technician, Slab Technician, Delivery Driver, or Tire Distribution Associate is a big plus!

Responsibilities of the Tire Service Technician / Delivery Driver:

• Deliver tires to local clients using a bobtail truck
• Load and unload tires and related materials by hand
• Manually lift tires and other items weighing up to 75 lbs. throughout the shift
• Inspect tires for tread depth, wear patterns, valve condition, and other safety-related factors
• Maintain and perform basic upkeep on tools and equipment
• Conduct inventory and assist with general warehouse tasks as needed
• Overtime may be required based on delivery volume
