Overview

FMI’s Strategy Practice is seeking a high-energy, self-motivated Analyst to join its growing team. FMI’s Strategy Practice focuses on strategic planning, business development, and go-to-market strategy development. We provide industry-best market research that delivers relevant market intelligence to help our clients find growth opportunities, gain insights, and understand the trends that are shaping and influencing our industry.

This is a hybrid, full-time opportunity that is based out of our corporate headquarters in Raleigh, North Carolina.

Responsibilities

  • Work effectively with people at all levels across in a client organization, including senior-level executives
  • Meet demanding client deadlines while supporting engagements with multiple clients simultaneously
  • Develop contacts lists in spreadsheet format, reaching out to contacts via email and cold calling to set up field and telephone interviews, engaging contacts in discussion to reveal key insights
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret market and company data into valuable insights
  • Synthesize findings into well-written and visually compelling summary reports and presentations
  • Utilize your problem-solving skillset to address key business challenges
  • Present findings and recommendations during client debrief

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university required
  • 1+ years of professional work experience conducting, analyzing, and documenting market research
  • Ability to thrive with minimal direction and supervision in an ambiguous work environment
  • Exceptional analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills and experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, listening, interpersonal and relationship-building skills
  • Proficiency with MS Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint
