Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) - 2025/2026 School Year Location: Huntsville, Texas Schedule: Monday-Friday, 37.5 hours/week | Hybrid option available Employment Type: W2 position with benefits and weekly pay Pay Rate: $40/hour About the Role We're seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) to join our school-based team for the 2025/2026 academic year. This role supports licensed Speech-Language Pathologists in delivering high-quality speech and language services to students. The SLPA will engage in clinical, educational, documentation, and treatment-related activities, all within the scope of care assigned by the supervising SLP and/or physician. Responsibilities + Assist in implementing speech and language programs under the supervision of a licensed SLP + Support students in achieving communication goals in educational settings + Document student progress and maintain accurate records + Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals + Participate in team meetings and contribute to IEP development as needed Minimum Requirements + Associate's degree from an SLPA program or Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders + Completion of at least 100 hours of supervised fieldwork or equivalent clinical experience + Current SLPA license or certification in the state of Texas + Familiarity with professional standards of practice + Preferred: One (1) year of prior SLPA experience + Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements + Must be at least 18 years of age + TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray (if applicable) + Current health certificate (per contract or state regulation) Why Join Us? + Competitive hourly rate + Weekly direct deposit + Comprehensive benefits package + Supportive team environment + Opportunity to make a meaningful impact in students' lives Interested?
