Title: Space C2 Analyst
KBR is seeking a Space Command and Control (C2) Analyst to provide on-site support to Headquarters Combat Forces Command (HQ CFC) located on Peterson Space Force Base in Colorado Springs, CO.
A strong candidate can provide operational C2 expertise for space mission areas. In this position, you will:
Key Responsibilities: - Support Functional Area Managers (FAMs) and Weapon System Lead for C2 operations units, USSPACECOM's National Space Defense Center C2, and associated capabilities.
- Support the operations, maintenance and sustainment of C2 operational forces and capabilities.
- Track development and testing of the capabilities developed by Space Systems Command (SSC), and commercial or government capabilities.
- Travel may be required for limited durations to support Customer events.
Qualifications: Required: - An active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility is required to be considered for this job, which is something only a U.S. citizen can obtain.
- 5 years of experience related to primary responsibilities (e.g., space command and control systems, Atlas, NDPP, Kobayashi Maru, Space Surveillance Network, SPEARR/SPADOC).
- BA/BS degree.
- Headquarters experience in the US Space Force, US Air Force, Combatant Command, CFC, Space Systems Command or equivalent.
- Operational Acceptance experience.
- Testing experience.
- Enterprise Task Management Tool proficiency.
- Experience with providing strategic advice, technical guidance, analysis and recommendations.
- Ability to multi-task and produce high-quality products in a high-tempo, collaborative environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (i.e., Word, Excel).
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Accustomed to professionally working with military senior leaders, offices, directorates, and action officers.
Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40hrs
Work Environment: - Location: On-site
- Travel Requirements: Minimal 0-20%
- Working Hours: Standard
Basic Compensation: $110,000 - $120,000
This range is for Colorado only.
The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.
