Job Description
Social Media Managers are responsible for monitoring social media trends and developing and executing creative content ideas across channels to assist in the digital strategy for multiple political campaigns and clients, under the direction of the Account Manager & Account Director. This role works with multiple departments across the company to execute at a high level for our clients. The ideal candidate is someone who has excellent writing skills, is detail-oriented, can juggle multiple assignments, and is able to work under pressure to meet deadlines. This is a forward-facing role, so clear and concise communication skills are important.
Responsibilities:
- Researching and monitoring social media trends
- Communicating with individuals across departments to build on fundraising and social media successes
- Tracking social media performance and communicate successes to clients
- Conceptualizing and creating weekly content calendars
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree is preferred
- Simple and direct communication skills including written and verbal, for both internal and external teams
- Personal or professional social media experience across channels such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Gettr, Rumble, Parler, etc.
- Political experience is helpful, but not required
- Deadline-driven mindset and willingness to work flexible hours during the political cycle
- Enthusiasm to work at a fast-paced and growing company
