14293 – Senior Linux Administrator (onsite) – Boca Raton, FL / Ocoee, FL

Start Date : ASAP
Type: Temporary Project
Estimated Duration : 12+ months with possible extensions
Work Setting: 100% of the time at the Client’s site. No telecommuting or remote work. This is a non-negotiable requirement from the client.

Required:
• Availability to work 100% of the time at the Client’s site in Boca Raton, FL / Ocoee, FL (required);
• Experience with RHEL Linux 8/9 administration/patch management.
• Experience with Linux Server builds and custom configurations.
• Experience tuning of Oracle database servers.
• Experience with Server Security vulnerability management.
• Experience with SolarWinds monitoring.
• Experience with Ansible playbook development.
• Experience with Ansible Automation Platform management and upgrades.
• Experience with Satellite 6 management and upgrades.
• Experience with VMware operational knowledge.
• Experience with automation, server migrations, troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with TCP/IP networking, network topology and firewalled environments.

Preferred:
• Experience with Storage management.
• Experience with Database administration.
• Experience with Windows administration.
• Experience with Cloud integration.
• Experience with Veritas NetBackup management.
• Experience with applications: JBoss, WebSphere, Splunk and HP ALM.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
• System tunings to application specific requirements. Systems standardization and automation.
• Keeping the UNIX environment compliant with the technology roadmap, such as OS & hardware upgrades, 3rd party software upgrades.
• Work on incident tickets and resolve in a timely manner.
• Remediate Secunia OS vulnerabilities as required by regular security audits.
• Perform quarterly patching of RedHat to ensure systems are compliant and pass strict PCI security requirements as dictated by regular audits from security team.
• Interface with IT and business clients at all levels of the organization.
• Rotating on-call Unix/Linux support in a 24X7 environment.
