Registered Nurse (RN) – SSSU / PACU / Outpatient Surgery Location: Clarkston, WA Assignment Type: Travel Duration: 13 weeks Schedule: 4x10s Pay: $2,352.60/week (plus $2,500 completion bonus per contract, up to $7,500 after three contracts) Job Description The SSSU/PACU RN will support the full outpatient surgical care workflow, including Same-Day Surgery, PACU, Endoscopy, Pre-Op Clinic, and procedural areas requiring conscious sedation. This role includes perioperative patient education, pre- and post-operative care, post-anesthesia recovery, and infusion support as applicable. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong clinical assessment skills, the ability to identify post-anesthesia and post-operative complications, and flexibility to float throughout Outpatient Services based on department needs. Key Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care across Same-Day Surgery, PACU, Endoscopy, and Pre-Op areas
• Administer conscious sedation for special procedures as needed
• Conduct pre-operative assessments and patient education
• Monitor and manage patients in immediate post-anesthesia phase
• Assess and respond to post-operative complications
• Start IVs, manage infusions, and administer medications
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and multidisciplinary teams
• Track and document patient progress in EMR
• Float across outpatient areas per staffing and patient needs

Qualifications

• Active RN license (WA or Compact)
• Minimum 1 year recent experience in PACU, SDS/Pre-Op, or perioperative nursing
• IV infusion experience preferred
• BLS and ACLS required
• Strong assessment, airway management, and critical-thinking skills
• Flexible to float within outpatient perioperative departments
• Proof of COVID-19 vaccination and recent tuberculosis test required
