Registered Nurse / Per Diem - Whitfield, MS (#R10027)
Must have an unrestricted Mississippi Nursing License.
Greenlife Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Mississippi State Hospital to join its Inpatient Psychiatric Services team. The ideal candidates will be committed to providing high-quality patient care on weekends and during state-mandated holidays.
Schedule of the Registered Nurse:
- Work two or more weekends per month.
- Each weekend consists of Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.
- Work a minimum of 24 hours and a maximum of up to 40 hours per weekend.
- Work a minimum of 6 state-mandated holidays, including Christmas or Thanksgiving, as determined by hospital needs.
Responsibilities of the Registered Nurse:
- Provide nursing care to patients in the inpatient psychiatric services unit.
- Work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor patient conditions and report changes to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance professional skills and knowledge.
