ASSYST is seeking an experienced and dedicated Oracle Technical Specialist to join our clients team. This role is crucial to the maintenance, support and modernization of a complex, mission-critical, Oracle-based software system implemented in 2011 and requires a re-platforming of the three different subsystems.

Job Title: Oracle Technical Specialist
Location: Rockville, MD (Hybrid)

This initiative is vital, as certain architectural areas are complex and outdated. The work will be executed within a dedicated host/development environment and will include the following key upgrade tasks:

• Oracle Database
• Oracle Internet Directory (OID) Database
• Middleware (Oracle Application Server)
• Oracle Internet Directory (OID) Server
• Oracle Forms
• Oracle Reports
• UI/Runtime
• Application JAR Files
• Operating System
• Enterprise Identity Mgmt/SSO

Required Skills and Experience:

• The successful candidate will possess extensive, hands-on technical expertise in the following areas:
• Database: Extensive knowledge of and experience with Oracle Database versions 11, 12c, and 19c.
• Middleware: Extensive knowledge of and experience with Oracle Middleware (OAS, OID) versions 10g and 12c.
• WebLogic: Extensive knowledge of and experience with WebLogic versions 11 and 12.
• Forms/Reports: Extensive knowledge of and experience with Oracle Forms/Oracle Reports for the 10g to 12c upgrade path.
• Operating Systems: Extensive knowledge of and experience with Linux and shell scripts.
• SSO: Experience with and knowledge of Oracle Single Sign On solutions.
