Salary: $127,310 - 243,340 per year Requirements:

• We seek candidates with a Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field, such as Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Science, Data Science, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related area with a strong quantitative foundation. Alternatively, four additional years of related experience may substitute for a degree. Candidates should have a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in model validation, model development, statistical analysis, or advanced quantitative research. An advanced degree (e.g., Master's, PhD) in a quantitative field combined with 4 years of related work experience is also acceptable. Essential skills include the ability to communicate complex quantitative concepts clearly to non-technical audiences, senior leadership, auditors, and regulators. Proficiency in programming languages such as R, Python, SAS, Java, C, SQL, or other comparable languages is required for effective model and algorithm development. Extensive experience with at least three statistical or predictive modeling techniques is necessary, along with strong knowledge of the operational and support functions in Banking and/or Insurance.

• In this position, you will implement independent model validation control activities for high-risk in-house and vendor models. You will utilize expert technical methods to create and execute validation testing plans. Your work may include replicating model development or creating challenger models using techniques such as predictive modeling, machine learning, and simulation. You will develop and execute model testing plans and data quality assessments, utilizing various types of datasets. Your responsibilities will include reviewing end-to-end life-cycle management of model development and implementation, as well as assessing inherent risk ratings and conducting model change validations. You will oversee and provide guidance to peers on model validation tasks and produce validation reports for management and other stakeholders. Additionally, you will evaluate model risk control strengths and stay informed on emerging modeling techniques.
