Job Title: Member Data Specialist

Location: Chicago, IL

Industry: Hospital & Healthcare

Compensation: $20 - $21/hour

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM, 100% on-site

About Our Client:

Addison Group is hiring for our client, a national healthcare organization that serves hospitals, healthcare systems, and their communities. They focus on advocacy, member engagement, and ensuring organizational perspectives are represented in policy and regulatory matters.

Job Description:

This is a temporary role to support the member services team during peak season and cover a team member on leave. The Member Data Specialist will manage and maintain membership records, support data entry initiatives, and assist with CRM updates to ensure accurate and timely information.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and update membership records in the organization’s database with high accuracy, following detailed procedures.
  • Assist with data cleaning and validation to support dues collection and other operational needs.
  • Collaborate with team members and IT to test, document, and communicate updates to the database.
  • Communicate professionally with members, state associations, and colleagues to gather missing information or resolve data discrepancies.
  • Support day-to-day customer service inquiries through phone and email as needed.
  • Perform routine financial and administrative tasks, including processing transactions, sending receipts, and updating member profiles.

Qualifications:

  • At least 3 years of experience in customer support via phone and email.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with data entry and customer relationship management (CRM) systems; NetForum or similar AMS experience preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook) and basic computer skills.
  • Typing speed of 60 wpm or higher.
  • Ability to learn new software quickly and adapt to various tech tools (SharePoint, Zendesk, OneNote, Cisco Finesse, Cvent, etc.).
  • Previous experience in contact centers or associations is a plus.

  • Contract-only position for approximately 8 weeks
