Job Description
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct time studies using video analysis to identify process improvement opportunities.
- Install and maintain operational equipment such as safety guards, boards, racks, rails, and conveyors.
- Assist Manufacturing Engineers in MUDA (waste) reduction initiatives.
- Participate in material handling and production-related tasks.
- Provide on-site support for manufacturing engineering activities on the shop floor.
- Create and maintain workflows including BOMs, routings, production versions, and revision levels.
- Provide label shop support and assist with label printing software.
- Follow up on 3F (Form, Fit, Function) issues and resolutions.
- Participate in 5S and continuous improvement activities.
Skills:
- Basic knowledge of AutoCAD and 3D modeling software (Inventor, Creo, SolidWorks is a plus).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, Skype).
- Familiarity with SAP and label printing software (LabelView, BarTender, Zebra Designer is a plus).
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or a related field a plus but not required. Currently hiring Engineering Students as interns for this role. Seeking the same now.
- Technical diploma in a related discipline is a plus if no degree.
- Basic experience in time studies, Kaizen methodology, and line balancing.
