Seeking a sales role where you can drive new business and nurture lasting client partnerships? As aVertical Major Account Executive at Spectrum, youwillblend consultative sales and account management to deliver voice,dataand video solutions within a defined territory. Yourexpertisein building relationships and providing tailored strategies will help clients achieve their goals and fuel Spectrum's continued growth.

How YouWillMake An Impact

  • Conduct consultative needs analyses with prospective clients to create customer-focused solutions
  • Develop relationships with existing customers to upsell new services and secure contract renewals
  • Design and present compelling sales proposals that address the complex communication requirements of medium and large businesses
  • Achieve a $5,000 monthly revenue quota through proactive territory management and strategic selling of Spectrum products
  • Self-generate leads by reaching out to prospective clients via telephone, cold call visits,networkingand industry events
  • Qualify new leads, coordinate sitesurveysandsubmitreturn on investment analyses to sales management
  • Maintainaccuratesales databases to report activity and customer information
  • Collaborate with the Account Management Team and business services support groups to ensure seamless client handoff and retention
  • Participate in sales meetings and training sessions to enhance your sales knowledge

Working Conditions

  • Office-based role with travel required to assigned territories, industry events and company facilities, including travel during inclement weather

RequiredQualifications

What You Will Bring to Spectrum

Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent from an accredited organization (GED)

Experience

  • Experience in a consultative sales or account management role

Skills

  • Read, write,speakand understand English
  • Working knowledge of computer networking, LAN and WAN technologies, high-capacityand fiber-connected networks
  • Proven networking, negotiation and closing abilities
  • Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Valid and active State driver's license with a safe driving record

Preferred Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in a business-related field

Experience

  • 3+ years of sales experience exceeding revenue quotas, preferably selling data, voice or video solutions in the telecommunications B2B industry

Skills

  • Demonstrated experience using CRM systems such asSalesForce
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook

The base pay for this position generally is between $69,000.00 and $113,800.00 . The actual compensation offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. We comply with local wage minimums and also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of other incentive-based compensation such as bonuses.

In addition, this position has a commission earnings target starting at $102,000 .
