BKR National is expanding into electrical services across Florida. We are seeking a Licensed Electrical Contractor (EC License) to act as our company’s official Qualifying Agent with the Florida Department of Business & Professional Regulation (DBPR).
Responsibilities:
Serve as Qualifier of Record for BKR National's electrical operations.
Ensure compliance with DBPR and Florida Building Code electrical regulations.
Oversee permit applications, inspections, and compliance requirements (low field involvement).
Provide limited consultation on code-related issues.
Compensation & Benefits:
Retainer: depending on involvement.
BKR National covers insurance, bond, and renewal costs.
Flexible schedule, ideal for contractors who want to monetize their license.
Requirements:
Active Florida Electrical Contractor License (EC) in good standing.
Eligible under DBPR to serve as Qualifying Agent.
