Identity & Access Management (IAM) Consultant (Remote, US)

We are seeking an Identity & Access Management (IAM) Consultant to support a global organization through a high-impact IAM transformation initiative. This consultant will play a critical role in redesigning identity lifecycle processes, streamlining application onboarding, and contributing to Identity Governance and Administration and automation projects. The role demands strong expertise in Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), Active Directory, Okta, and a strategic approach to designing and implementing scalable IAM solutions.

This is a 3-month contract (extensions possible), 40-hour-per-week, remote role in the US.

This is a W-2 role as a Stage 4 Solutions employee. Health benefits and 401K are offered.

Responsibilities:

• Discovery & Design: Analyze existing IAM processes, identify gaps, and design future-state identity workflows with a focus on onboarding, offboarding, and entitlement reviews.
• Application Onboarding & Integration: Lead secure onboarding of SaaS and on-prem applications using Okta and Entra; implement SSO using SAML, OIDC, and OAuth2 protocols.
• Entitlement & Access Governance: Define RBAC/ABAC models, participate in certification processes, and support scalable entitlement governance.
• Workflow Automation: Develop and deploy automated workflows for provisioning/deprovisioning using tools like Okta Workflows, PowerShell, or custom scripts.
• Operational Support: Act as L3 support for IAM incidents, resolve complex issues, and maintain documentation for audit readiness.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with security, HRIS, engineering, and IT teams to ensure secure and seamless IAM operations.

Requirements:

• 10+ years in IT, including 5+ years focused on IAM architecture, design, and implementation.

• Deep hands-on experience with Okta, Microsoft Entra ID, and Active Directory (on-prem & hybrid).
• Strong grasp of identity protocols (SAML, OIDC, OAuth2) and lifecycle management best practices.
• Experience with IGA platforms such as SailPoint, Saviynt, or Okta Identity Governance (OIG).
• Familiarity with automation tools such as Okta Workflows, PowerShell, or REST APIs.
• Working knowledge of ServiceNow or Jira for access request workflows and ticketing.
• Bachelor's degree required.

Compensation: $75 - $79.33/hr
