Job Description

The Windsor of Savoy in Savoy, IL. Is an affiliate of Greencroft Communities in Goshen, IN. We are a senior living campus offering independent living, assisted living and memory care services. Our residents are our priority, and we are always team-focused and quality centered. We are currently looking for a detail-oriented and dependable Housekeeper to join our team. In this role, you will perform routine cleaning of apartments and laundering tasks as well as assist with maintaining the common areas of our campus. You’ll help create a warm, clean, and safe living environment that promotes dignity and well-being for our residents.

Schedule: Full-Time, Monday – Friday 7 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.

Pay Range: $16.51 - $22.50 (DOE)

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform daily cleaning tasks in resident apartments and common areas per established schedules
  • Dust, sweep, mop, vacuum, and sanitize surfaces including floors, windows, fixtures, and bathrooms
  • Empty trash, restock supplies, and maintain cleanliness of housekeeping carts and storage areas
  • Assist with deep cleaning of apartments at move-out/turn-over times
  • Use chemicals safely and appropriately, observing appropriate safety precautions
  • Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or supply needs to the Environmental Services Manager
  • Participate in fire/disaster drills and departmental meetings
  • Ensure work areas are left clean and organized at the end of each shift

Education & Experience

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred
  • Previous housekeeping experience preferred
  • Experience in a senior living facility is a plus

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining a clean environment
  • Capable of handling physical demands including lifting up to 40 lbs., bending, and standing for long periods
