Position Overview:
Seeking an experienced Histology Supervisor to oversee daily operations within the histology laboratory and ensure high-quality, compliant laboratory services.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise histology staff and manage daily laboratory workflow
• Ensure compliance with CAP, CLIA, and hospital quality standards
• Oversee specimen processing, embedding, staining, and quality control
• Collaborate closely with pathologists and laboratory leadership
• Lead staff training, scheduling, and performance evaluations
Qualifications:
• Active Florida laboratory license required
• Minimum 3 years of histology supervisory or leadership experience
• HT/HTL(ASCP) certification preferred
