Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable, customer-focused  Furniture Delivery Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely loading, transporting, and delivering furniture items to customer homes and business locations. You will operate a box truck, ensure items are handled with care, and provide a professional and friendly customer experience, including accepting payments when necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate company box trucks to complete daily pickup and delivery routes
• Safely load, secure, transport, and unload large and heavy furniture pieces
• Use safe lifting techniques and equipment to prevent damage and injury
• Plan and follow the most efficient delivery routes using GPS and route planning tools
• Communicate clearly and professionally with customers during pickup and delivery
• Accept and process customer payments as needed, ensuring accuracy and proper documentation
• Inspect delivery vehicle before and after trips; report any issues promptly
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the vehicle and delivery tools
• Assist with other warehouse or delivery tasks as required

Qualifications:

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (CDL not required but a plus)
• Previous experience driving box trucks and delivering large items preferred
• Strong understanding of safe lifting, loading, and furniture handling practices
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Ability to plan and navigate delivery routes efficiently
• Physically able to lift and move heavy items (up to 100 lbs) with assistance or equipment
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently or with a team
