Summary We are seeking a
Family Child Care Quality Improvement Specialist to join our team. Under the supervision of the Quality & Education Coordinator, this position provides targeted technical assistance and coaching to early care and education providers as part of the
Grow NJ Kids continuous improvement cycle. The Specialist will conduct site visits, support providers through quality improvement processes, and help ensure the delivery of high-quality care for children and families. This position supports the QIS Program in both Burlington & Camden County.
Duties · Assist providers with enrollment into Grow NJ Kids and provide an overview of the framework.
· Conduct site visits to assess readiness and support programs through self-assessment and action planning.
· Administer and review FCCERS ratings and provide reflective feedback to providers.
· Offer technical assistance through in-person visits, phone, and email support.
· Track and document program progress, submitting reports as required.
· Facilitate transition to Regional Technical Assistance Centers.
· Attend professional development trainings, quarterly regional meetings, and maintain active status in the NJ Workforce Registry.
· Travel regularly within New Jersey and Camden County; occasional evenings and weekends may be required.
Requirements · Bachelor’s degree in education or related field required.
· Experience with structured classroom observation tools.
· Knowledge of NJ preschool teaching and learning standards and NJ birth-to-three learning standards.
· Experience with mentoring and coaching practices.
· Reliable transportation and good driving record required.
