Language Trainers is a successful language training company working with freelance teachers of 70 different languages in hundreds of towns and cities across the world. Students are either in-company or self-funded and need to learn a language for work, family, or travel. Founded in 2004, our motto is Any Language, Anytime, Anywhere!

We are currently looking for a Brazilian Portuguese native teacher who teaches English.

Course details:
One of our clients in Chicago (60601) would like to take one-to-one General English classes.
The student is Brazilian and has a beginner level of English, so knowledge of Brazilian Portuguese is essential to support communication, especially at early stages.

• Location: at the teacher’s office/home or a public place near Chicago
• Course length: 32 hours
• Schedule: 2-hour classes, three times per week (Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays in the afternoon)
• Start date: ASAP
• Student age group: 35–44
• Current level: Beginner

Ideal teacher profile:

• Native speaker of Brazilian Portuguese
• Fluent in English and experienced teaching English to beginners
• Teaching degree and/or experience as a language teacher, translator, or interpreter
• Valid working visa
• Lives within 20 miles of the client’s location

Location of the classes and schedule could be flexible based on your and the client’s availability. The hourly rate is negotiable depending on qualifications and experience. This is a freelance part-time position, and we are not able to sponsor your visa.
