Email Marketing Manager

Location: On-site with optional 2 days remote hybrid schedule | Salary: $62K–$72K

Overview

Anago Cleaning Systems is seeking an experienced Email Marketing Manager to own the planning, execution, and optimization of internal and external email campaigns. This full-time role will focus on planning, building, testing, and sending communications via Mailchimp to support franchise development, customer engagement, and internal initiatives. This role blends creative storytelling with data-driven decision-making to ensure our messages reach the right audience at the right time. The ideal candidate will also assist in managing our online reputation by overseeing review request campaigns. This role reports to the VP of Marketing and plays a critical part in helping us communicate clearly, consistently, and effectively with both internal stakeholders and external audiences.

Status & Hours : This is a full-time position and may be performed in-office or as a hybrid. Hours are Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Create and deploy targeted, automated, and personalized email campaigns in Mailchimp to support franchise marketing, customer engagement, and internal communications
• Maintain and optimize the email marketing calendar, ensuring campaigns are strategically timed, audience-appropriate, and aligned with business priorities
• Design and test responsive, mobile-first email templates that adhere to brand standards and follow current UX and accessibility best practices
• Write and refine subject lines, preview text, campaign copy, and creative using A/B testing and data insights to maximize engagement
• Segment and manage email lists to ensure accurate targeting and list health, including regular cleaning and compliance with email regulations
• Monitor, analyze, and report on campaign performance metrics, providing actionable recommendations for improving deliverability, engagement, and conversion
• Collaborate with marketing, franchise sales, and leadership teams to prioritize messaging and align timing
• Manage review request campaigns, supporting franchisees in driving more Google reviews and improving local SEO
• Provide light support to franchisees on review-related questions and email marketing best practices

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in email marketing, digital marketing, or content coordination
• Proficiency in Mailchimp
• Strong writing, editing, and formatting skills
• Understanding of list segmentation, A/B testing, and email best practices
• Strong attention to detail, project management, and follow-through
• Self-motivated and able to manage workload independently

Bonus Points

• Experience in franchise, B2B, or service industry marketing
• Comfortable working cross-functionally
• Knowledge of email performance reporting tools
• Basic HTML knowledge is a plus, but not required
• Familiarity with review/reputation platforms preferred
