Job Title: Electrical DesignerJob Description We are seeking an experienced Electrical Designer with 3-7 years of experience in BIM design. The role involves providing design services in Revit for highly technical design-build and/or bid-build projects across sectors such as industrial, data centers, commercial, government, and energy. Proficiency in annotations and spooling is required. Responsibilities + Perform electrical design work using Revit in BIM. + Collaborate on design-build and bid-build projects in various technical sectors. + Conduct modeling and coordinate clashes in Revit. + Assist with circuit design and utilize AutoCAD for project needs. + Quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) of shop drawings before release for construction. + Ensure compliance with the National Electrical Code for safe installation of electrical equipment. Essential Skills + 3-7 years of experience in electrical BIM design. + Proficiency in Revit MEP and AutoCAD. + Experience in electrical circuit design. + Familiarity with the National Electrical Code. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience with AutoCAD Electrical is a plus. + Previous exposure to MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) design. Work Environment This position is primarily based in an office setting in Owings Mills, with occasional fieldwork. Field duties may involve working near moving mechanical parts and in various weather conditions. Candidates may be exposed to fumes, airborne particles, and risk of electrical shock. The noise level is typically moderate. Continuing education opportunities are also available. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Owings Mills, MD. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $36.06 - $45.67/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
