Job Description

Job Title: Electrical Designer Job Description We are seeking an experienced Electrical Designer to develop electrical drawings, including schematics and wiring diagrams. This role involves releasing approved drawings and bills of materials to production, revising drawing packages according to customer comments, and resubmitting for approval. You will support production during the assembly and wiring process, create electrical bills of materials, and log data in the manufacturing database while ensuring that projects meet the requirements of any existing equipment. Responsibilities + Develop electrical schematics and wiring diagrams. + Release approved drawings and bill of materials to production. + Revise drawing packages per customer comments and re-submit for approval. + Support production during the assembly and wiring process. + Create electrical bill of materials and log data in the manufacturing database. + Ensure projects meet requirements of any existing equipment. Essential Skills + Electrical engineering and design expertise. + 2-year Associate's degree in Electrical Technology or a minimum of 4 years of medium voltage experience. + Experience with medium voltage design (5 kV to 38 kV). + Experience with enclosures and cabinets. + Drafting experience. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Power Distribution design experience is preferred. Work Environment The facility is extremely busy with projects extending through 2028, offering a growing industry supporting data centers. The work environment is a very clean, safe, well-lit, and organized facility that is climate-controlled. We are focused on growing the team for the long term. The facility has undergone new renovations, ensuring a modern and efficient workspace. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Canton, OH. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $31.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
