About the role:

No two days will be the same as you collaborate to story tell through internal communications, earned media, workplace and industry award submissions and social media. Strong verbal and written communications skills, intellectual curiosity and an eye for detail are a must in this fast-paced role.

What you'll be doing:

• Collaborate with Marketing and cross-functional partners to help create impactful internal communications, earned media, award submissions and social media posts.
• Draft, pitch, conduct follow-up on press releases, media alerts and pitches to Cincinnati and other local media markets.
• Support the development of internal communications and circulate for internal review.
• Work closely with Corporate Communications Team, Copywriter, executive management and external contacts to ensure timely and quality submission of award applications.
• Work with in-house design team to create branded content to relating to awards, media, internal communications and social media.
• Maintain existing files and reports relating to awards, company statistics and media.

What you need:

• 2+ years of Communications or Marketing experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or Business is preferred.
• Work well within a team while developing competence to independently own projects.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Master of managing multiple diverse projects at once, working against deadlines.
• Excellent attention to detail, critical thinking, problem solving and a continuous improvement mindset.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to establish effective relationships and engage senior leaders.
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office Suite including Teams, Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Smartsheet experience a plus.
