What You’ll Do

As CFO, you will serve as a strategic partner to the CEO and executive team and be responsible for CWCU's financial strength, liquidity, and profitability. You’ll lead our Finance, Accounting, Audit, and EFT teams, focusing on data-driven planning, regulatory excellence, and sustainable growth.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Oversee financial planning, budgeting, asset/liability management (ALM), and investment strategies.
• Guide strategic planning with sound financial analysis and forecasting.
• Ensure the safety, soundness, and regulatory compliance of all financial operations.
• Partner with internal and external stakeholders, including regulators, examiners, auditors, and community leaders.
• Drive initiatives that improve organizational efficiency, member value, and service delivery.

What We’re Looking For

We seek a forward-thinking and collaborative finance executive with experience in credit unions or banking, and a deep commitment to service, compliance, and innovation.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 7–10 years of progressive leadership experience in Finance, Treasury, or Accounting within a credit union or financial institution.
• Proven experience managing ALM, liquidity, and investment portfolios.
• 5+ years of people leadership, mentoring, and team development.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration (Master’s or CPA/CFA/CMA preferred).
• Strong communication skills, analytical mindset, and comfort working across cross-functional teams and community settings.

Location

Base Salary: $185,000-$265,000
