Atlantic Bay Mortgage Group, recently voted #1 in the nation as the best large mortgage company to work for by National Mortgage News, is seeking a Business Risk Analyst to join our team! The Business Risk Analyst plays a crucial role in identifying, analyzing, and mitigating risks associated with Atlantic Bay's operations. Serving in multiple capacities, the Business Risk Analyst acts as a point of contact for Sales on business related matters and collaboration across lines of business to ensure an efficient, effective, and compliant process.

What you'll be doing

  • Supporting Atlantic Bay's ancillary lines of business and business development initiatives consistent with the Company's strategic focus.
  • Serving as the initial point of contact for Sales on all RESPA, UDAAP, Federal and State marketing compliance, and business-related matters including marketing compliance, social media monitoring, advertising agreements, branch audits, compliance reporting, affiliated business arrangement opportunities, ancillary lines of business requests, and branded business questions and support.
  • Collaborating with Sales Leadership, Marketing, and Corporate Risk to ensure mortgage banker questions, requests, and support needs are fulfilled in a timely manner with Atlantic Bay's core values in mind: Genuine Care, Inspire Growth, and Have Fun.
  • Supporting business initiatives for Atlantic Bay's branded entities and ancillary lines of business.
  • Completing periodic and timely research and analysis that impacts all lines of businesses, including, Sales and Corporate, as tasked while focusing on existing, new and emerging laws, regulations, and industry trends.

What you'll bring

  • A minimum of two years' experience in the mortgage industry with one year preferred in compliance, risk management, or sales support
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Demonstrated customer service experience
  • Attention to detail and very task oriented
  • Knowledge of project management/task management software
  • Experience with social media monitoring technology
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products (i.e. Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • Excellent communication written, verbal and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage concurrent tasks and responsibilities
  • A strong sense of self-initiative and drive
  • An appetite to learn and a willingness to help with a variety of tasks at all levels of the organization
