Classic Beverage Company

Location: Boulder, CO (territory includes Boulder, Superior, and Lafayette)
Department: Sales
Reports To: Jessica Dempsey
Compensation: Commission-only. Historically $60,000–$64,000 annually. Car allowance and entertainment expense TBD at time of hire. Additional incentive and bonus pay possible.

Position Description:
Classic Beverage Company is seeking a Sales Representative for one of our Boulder territories. This role represents our full portfolio of wine, spirits, non-alcoholic beverages, and beer. The territory is heavily weighted toward on-premise business, with a strong concentration of fine dining restaurants, along with key off-premise accounts, bars, and hotels.

Successful salespeople in this territory have demonstrated excellent rapport-building skills, strong product knowledge, and credibility in the marketplace. They excel in presenting new products, delivering excellent service, and following through with clients. Many of our top performers come from backgrounds in managing or buying for package stores or on-premise establishments and have been recognized for their high standards and accomplishments.

Qualifications:

Familiarity with retail and restaurant inventory, ordering, and stocking patterns

Comfort with various markup schedules; ability to lead consultant-level pricing discussions

Strong foundation in wine and spirits knowledge, especially relevant to fine dining and on-premise environments

Advanced ability to identify opportunities through observation and buyer conversations

Proficiency with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint to prepare proposals, staff trainings, and recaps

Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills in a relationship-driven business

Self-motivated with excellent organizational skills to manage multiple accounts and priorities

Willingness to occasionally perform duties outside normal responsibilities
