We create work that sits at the intersection of art, entertainment, and advertising, helping brands show up in culture at the speed of what’s next.

The Role

We’re seeking an AI Ad Artist-in-Residence, a creator who uses AI as their creative medium to make brands reconsider what’s possible.

In this role, you’ll:

• Build original content that blends human creativity with emerging AI tools — from 8-second trend-driven experiments to longer brand-worthy pieces.
• Prototype ideas at speed, exploring the edges of what’s possible with each new platform, workflow, and tool as it launches.
• Contribute to the studio’s cultural voice through thought leadership and social content.
• Produce work that fuels client campaigns, powers new business opportunities, and explores experimental/spec concepts that push the boundaries of what advertising can be.

This is a 3-month paid residency with the opportunity to transition into a full-time role.

What is an AI Ad Artist?

An AI Ad Artist is a new kind of creator:

• Part filmmaker, part technologist, part cultural commentator.
• A trend-hunter who knows why everyone is suddenly excited about using Nano Banana for Veo3 this week
• A tastemaker who knows the difference between a flashy loop and a story that moves people.
• Already creating spec ads and cultural experiments that make brands feel alive in the moment.

You Are

• Deeply immersed in the AI creative ecosystem.
• A filmmaker at heart who understands pacing, emotion, and craft.
• Fluent in chaining tools: Midjourney → Kling → Runway → Veo3 → whatever drops tomorrow.
• Comfortable producing multiple finished pieces weekly — from micro-tests to polished brand-worthy content.
• Excited by ambiguity — willing to explore ideas we can’t fully define until we’re making them.

Requirements

• A portfolio that shows progression from AI experiments to broadcast-ready creative work.
• Technical mastery matched with strong taste and storytelling instincts.
• Proven ability to work at pace without sacrificing quality.
• Familiarity with social platforms and cultural moments (a following is a plus, not a requirement).

Residency Details

• Commitment: 3-month residency, with opportunity to transition into a full-time role.
• Compensation: Paid residency with competitive stipend.
• Location: Flexible (remote), with opportunities for in-person collaboration with our LA-based team. Must be available to work PST hours.
